Spending Christmas in a traditional Japanese onsen hotel was a great experience. the staff was super friendly and provided a warm welcome, including a tea ceremony in the room. the location was ideal and easily accessible by foot from the train station. We enjoyed the beautiful views of the river from our room, as well as the private onsen baths. the food was excellent, with a 12-course set menu dinner served in a private dining room.
some of the staff did not speak a lot of English, which made communication a bit difficult at times.

We spent New Year’s Eve at a traditional Japanese hotel in a beautiful secluded location. The onsen was excellent, and we appreciated the warm feeling of being surrounded by nature during the winter season. The staff provided great personalized service and were always very accommodating. the food was outstanding, with very generous portions and a lot of options to choose from.
Although we enjoyed our stay, accessibility to nearby attractions was a bit of an inconvenience, requiring multiple forms of transportation and a long commute time. the hotel's decor and furniture were old-fashioned, and could use some updating to improve the overall ambiance.
